October 1st Workshop Bonding Scent Hearts with Mary FB and Nancy D
These hearts are given to NICU parents to wear next to their skin, absorbing their scent. The hearts are then taken to the NICU and placed next to their child. The hearts are given in sets of two and measure approximately 5” x 5”.
Materials needed:
- Cotton flannel fabric; pre-washed in gentle, scent- free detergent
- 1 yard will yield about 16 hearts
- Sewing machine, scissors, needles, thread

Fabric Scraps
Scissors Seam Ripper or pokey Stylus
Hot glue gun and glue sticks (we can share these)
